Students Supports and Guidance Cell (SSGP)
The SSGP provides individualized counselling for personal, career and academic information, activities and instruction designed to acquaints students with career. Guidance and Counselling (SSGP) is constituted to provide timely support and guidance to improve the adjustment of students to the profession.
Activities
- The committee is an independent committee to look into the welfare of students.
- Every month a feedback has to be collected using online google forms. The same has to be evaluated and presented in the IQAC meeting Criterion 5
- Feedbacks has to be collected as follows
- From Fresher’s – during second week – “ Getting to know You “ - on their strengths, fear, the socialisation , expectations and comfort , need of bridge courses etc
- After One month – on learning and teaching and life at campus, extra support required etc.
- After every sessional examinations on the difficulty they face or remedial support required
- Feedback from all students once in three months, including academics, activities, celebrations, guidance, infrastructure etc.
- SSGP should also conduct Workshops on Life Skill Education, Overcoming
- Exam Fear, atleast one in a quarter
