The Dale View College of Pharmacy & Research Centre ensures holistic student development through a comprehensive blend of academic, physical, mental, cultural, and social activities. The cultural life at the college is vibrant, with events such as Fresher’s Day, Teachers’ Day, College Day , Graduation Day, National Day celebrations, Health Days and academic programs organized in the auditorium which has a seating capacity of 250-300 or as community outreach programs providing students with opportunities for creative expression and community engagement. Additionally, the institution emphasizes social responsibility and environmental consciousness through various outreach programs including blood donation camps, tree planting drives, NSS activities, Red Ribbon Club activities and the celebration of traditional festivals. The NSS Unit at The Dale View College of Pharmacy & Research Centre in Trivandrum is a funded unit under the KUHS and is impressively active and deeply committed to community services.

Tribal Village Outreach: NSS volunteers visited Kottoor tribal village and Jawahar Shishu Vihar nursery, distributing educational materials, conducting medical camps, health awareness sessions and engaging with children.
Deaddiction Center Support: They offer psycho-social and legal assistance to adolescents undergoing rehabilitation.
Shelter Home Counseling: Volunteers conducted sessions for domestic violence survivors, helping them regain confidence and independence.

THE MECHANISMS FOR REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCES
COURSE: B.PHARM
- The college has a well-organized mechanism for redressal of examination related grievances. The student can approach the Teachers, College Examination Committee and Principal to redress the examination related grievance.
- The college adheres strictly to the guidelines and rules issued by the affiliating university while conducting internals and end semester examinations.
- Two internal assessments for B.Pharm are conducted during each semester, the time table for which is prepared well in advance and communicated to the students.
- Seating plan and table markings are followed for both sessional as well as University examinations.
- A centralized exam cell system is followed.
- For the B.Pharm students shall have the opportunity to improve his/her performance in the sessional exam component of the internal assessment after the conduct of regular university examination as per the KUHS regulations.
- Before distributing the answer scripts to the students the faculty members explain the answer key and mark distribution.
- The corrected answer papers of the students are distributed to them for the verification by the students and any grievance is redressed immediately. The marks obtained by the students in sessional examinations are entered in separate sheet and get the signature from the students.
- The marks obtained by the students in each sessional examinations are entered in a separate register with their attendance before finishing the semester examinations.
- Day to day performance of the students is assessed for every experiment which includes regularity, performance, viva and the promptness in submitting the record.
- For lab courses, the marks/grade scored by the students for each experiment is indicated in the observation/record.
- The end examination for the laboratory and projects shall be conducted with internal examiner from the college and external examiner appointed from the other colleges as decided by the University.
- Suppose a student arrives late for University theory examination the student will not be permitted to attend the University examination as per KUHS regulations. A student without University ID or admit card, it has to be informed to the University through proper channel and after getting the permission from the examination committee and principal, the students are allowed to attend the examination.
- Those students arriving late for sessional examinations may be permitted to attend the examination only with the permission of the Principal .
- If a student wants to check their University paper can apply to the University for the photocopy of the answer sheet through proper channel within the stipulated time and retotalling facility is also available.
- Those students arriving late for sessional examinations may be permitted to attend the examination only with the permission of the Principal .

COURSE: PHARM D
- The college has a well organized mechanism for redressal of examination related grievances. The student can approach the teachers, College Examination Committee and Principal to redress the examination related grievance.
- The college adheres strictly to the guidelines and rules issued by the affiliating university while conducting internals and year ending examinations.
- There shall be a minimum of 3 periodic assessments conducted in the college for each subject (theory, viva and practical) .
- Students shall have the opportunity to improve his/her performance in the sessional exam component of the internal assessment.
- Before distributing the answer scripts to the students the faculty members explain the answer key and mark distribution.
- The corrected answer papers of the students are distributed to them for the verification by the students and any grievance is redressed immediately. The marks obtained by the students in sessional examinations are entered in separate sheet and get the signature from the students.
- The marks obtained by the students in each sessional examinations are entered in a separate register with their attendance before finishing the examinations.

Dale View Care Point: A 100-beded de-addiction unit licensed by the Kerala Mental Health Authority. It provides detoxification, psychological therapy, group and family counseling, pharmacotherapy, and relapse prevention programs.

Celebrating Gender Equality
We mark International Women's Day every year. On March 8th, 2023, with a program themed "Digit-ALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality". We also hosted students from Global Village, Sweden, who visited our institution on January 24th, 2023, to discuss gender equity and interacted with our students and Principal. In 2025 a mega women blood donation camp was organized as part of International women’s day celebrations.

CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD
On October 11, 2023, the Red Ribbon Club of The Dale View College of Pharmacy and Research Centre, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Karodu, celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child at Govt. High School, Utheramcode.
This global event highlighted the importance of promoting girls' rights, addressing challenges, and recognizing their critical role in families, communities, and societies. The theme, "Invest in Girls' Rights: Our Leadership, Our Wellbeing," emphasizes the need to support and celebrate girls' leadership.
ANTI-DISCRIMINATION CELL
The UGC Regulation on “Promotion of Equity in Higher Educational Institutions Regulations 2012” states that “no higher educational institutional shall discriminate a student belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes categories, or allow or condone any constituent of the higher educational institutions to discriminate such a student or group of such students”.
The Officials / faculty members should desist from any act of discrimination against SC/ST students on grounds of their social origin. The college should also ensure that no official / faculty members indulge in any kind of discrimination against any community or category of students.
A committee has been constituted to have a close watch on non-occurrence of such incidents. The individuals/victim can register their complaints in the Complaints Register, in the Principal Office.
SOCIO-ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED GROUPS CELL
College focuses on allowing all religious practices and promotes all cultures within the ethos of respect and cultural sensitivity. College celebrates cultural festivals such as Onam, Christmas, Eid and try to capture the cultural uniqueness of the local traditions beyond religions and other barriers. The Dale View give awareness camps to the tribal village about the health. Through our NSS team books and other study essentials aredistributed to the needy. A mega blood donation camp and the awareness about the drug abuse classes were taken for higher secondary school students As part of community outreach programs specific health days are celebrated like breastfeeding week , cervical cancer awareness week etc and awreness sessions are conducted to educate the public around Punalal village. A 7- days NSS residential camp at The Dale View College of Pharmacy and Research Centre, conducted programs which extended to the cleaning, awareness campaign flash mob presentation etc.
